Welcome to The Darkbattle Manual.
The DB Manual will (hopefully) answer all your queries about the game and all of its sub-categories (for example DBBot and mIRC). After reading the manual you should be able to be a fairly adept player in the Darkbattle Universe, however, you will still require practice to hone your skills.
Darkbattle is a web-based browser game with little or no graphics; because of the lack of graphics and the large amount of text it can appear a bit frightening at times, however, if you enter this manual with a clear mind and a willingness to understand you will become a master of the game in no time at all.
The Game Story:
The Endless, their name forever carved upon my mind. Such power, such potential, we made a mistake, we paid for it.
The year was 2356, the interstellar race was on. Life on the Moon and Mars was rife. However, then it was found...Darkmatter. Suddenly, Man had a fuel, and so Man's eyes gazed to the Universe and saw the future. Colonies began to grow all over the galaxy, and then...They were found.
A group of explorers haphazardly stumbled across a distant galaxy, inhabited by a race known only as The Endless; a race that could create Darkmatter at their will. Mankind looked once, saw the potential and invaded...a mistake we will not make again.
The Endless eradicated Man's feeble attempt at invasion, decimating the collective forces of the Galaxy. The Endless moved on, and left Mankind obliterated and fuel less. Small wars began to occur between smaller planets, everyone scraping over the last remaining molecules of Darkmatter; then larger wars started and The Darkmatter Battles started..."Darkbattle." |
